
IPA Committees
Each of the IPA's Committees falls under one of the following categories:
Professional, Scientific and Educational Groups: to foster scientific development and learning, and the maintenance of high professional standards. For a list of Professional, Scientific and Educational Groups click here.
Research Groups: to encourage or conduct research which demonstrates the efficacy of the science or which leads to improvements in methodology as well as bridging the psychoanalytic instrument with the research methodologies of other sciences. For a list of Research Groups click here.
Membership Services Groups: to seek to capture the attention of and serve the global membership by providing them with information (particularly on IPA activities) and services, which are relevant and useful to their profession. For a list of Membership Services Groups click here.
Outreach Groups: to increase the awareness of the efficacy and relevance of the profession in related professional and academic circles, as well as interested elements within the general public. For a list of Outreach Groups click here.
Development (International New Groups): to expand the profession both within current and new geographic areas whilst maintaining high professional standards. For a list of International New Groups click here.
Governance Groups: to ensure the efficient and effective management of the IPA in accordance with its Constitution and Bylaws, and to propose changes to the C&B for Board approval prior to a vote of the Membership. For a list of GovernanceGroups click here.
