Outstanding Special Service Recognition

Many individuals, both IPA Members and non IPA Members, carry out an enormous amount of work for the IPA on a voluntary basis. From time to time the Executive Committee wishes to recognise such work carried out for the good of the IPA. This recognition is not open to IPA Committee or Board members, but for those who have not been officially appointed or elected to carry out the role for which they are to be recognised. Recommendations for this kind of recognition may be suggested to the Outstanding Special Service Committee by any IPA Committee Chair or Board Member or recommendations may be solicited from any source by the Committee itself at any time. Outstanding Special Service recommendations should be supported by information regarding the work that has been carried out.

Recognition is also granted to the IPA Research Grant Reviewers for their dedication and faithful service. Please do click here for a list of names.

The Outstanding Special Service Committee considers all proposals received using criteria established by the Committee. All proposals recommended by the Committee are forwarded to the IPA Executive Committee for final decision. The Board is informed of all such recognitions, which are published on the IPA website and in its electronic bulletin.
