*candidate excluded due to Election Rule stipulating that no more than 2 representatives may be elected from one country

The Rules and limits for the European and Latin American regions state:

“11. In the European and Latin American regions:

  • no more than one Representative may be elected from one IPA Constituent Organisation;
  • no more than 2 Representatives may be elected from one country.

In the European and Latin American regions, subject to these limits, those candidates who receive the most votes will be elected.”

* Please note that although Nilde Jacob Parada Franch, Mauro Gus and Adela Susana Leibovich de Duarte received higher votes than some of those elected from Latin America, the two positions allowed from Argentina have been taken by Monica Siedmann de Armesto and Maria Ines Raitzin de Vidal and the two positions allowed from Brazil have been taken by Ruggero Levy and Altamirando Matos de Andrade Jr. who all received more votes. Therefore they could not be elected in addition to the successful candidates from Argentina and Brazil.
