You are invited to the launch of a most unusual book - Dr. Anne Hayman’s 'What Do Our Terms Mean?’
10-12 am on Saturday, September 28th at the Freud Museum. Recently published by the International Psychoanalytical Association (Karnac Books), and launched at the congress in Prague in the author’s absence.

As a retired Training Analyst and Child Psychoanalyst and one of the esteemed elders of our Society and of the British Independent tradition, Anne is well placed to be an important commentator, offering clarification of unnoticed uncertainties arising from our very terminology in psychoanalytic theorising since the controversial discussions. Her book is a challenge to us all to inspect how we verbalise our own theories and their relation to our clinical practice. Anne and her book will be celebrated by  Ken Robinson, Member & Honorary Archivist, British Psychoanalytical Society. Training analyst for child, adolescent and adult psychotherapy in the North of England and Scotland Gennaro Saragnano, MD. Chair of the Publications Committee of the International Psychoanalytic Association, Member and former Secretary of the Italian Psychoanalytical Association (AIPSI), Rome, Italy, Joan Raphael-Leff, Fellow, the British Psychoanalytical Society.

There will be a light brunch served.
