The Latin American Institute for Psychoanalysis Psychoanalysts is a Direct Member of the International Psychoanalytical Association, founded by Sigmund Freud in 1908. Its area of ??action is the Latin American countries that have no psychoanalytic Society components. Those interested in training as psychoanalysts of the API have two options for training:
a) Be accepted by an Institute of Psychoanalysis of the existing API in any other country and be eligible to take the institute for the purpose of becoming affiliated member of that Society, which will, by extension, Member of the API . This should be moved to make the training that other country.
b) Be accepted for admission to the Latin American Institute for Psychoanalysis ILAP-upon completion of training being proposed as a Direct Member of the Executive Committee through the API.
The ILAP selected for entry, provide training and propose to the membership API directly to those candidates who have successfully completed their training plan.
