The Freudian Psychoanalytic Society of Colombia is a non-profit scientific organisation. As a Component Society of the International Psychoanalytical Association (IPA), we follow the guidelines set by the IPA whose purpose is to develop activities for the study and advancement of psychoanalysis developed by Sigmund Freud.
Our organisation carries out scientific diffusion of psychoanalytic thought, first through the training of psychoanalysts in accordance with the standards of the IPA, by the Institute for Training of our society, and academic activities within the group and the general public and aims to promote the development and dissemination of our discipline, and promote closer to psychoanalysis as a method of investigation and treatment of the human mind.
The Freudian Psychoanalytic Society of Columbia is headquartered in the city of Bogotá, Colombia.
