Meeting of Presidents and Directors of Training on
Education
Tuesday 24th July 2007, Berlin
The IPA's Board of Representatives feels that
it is enormously important that IPA educational issues are
discussed as widely as possible. The recognition of the 3
training models, the changes to the Procedural Code and the
proposed oversight function of the IPA are all issues of
considerable importance.
Prior to the Berlin Congress the President and
Secretary General of the IPA invited all Presidents and Directors
of Training from all IPA Societies, and the Affiliate Societies of
the American Psychoanalytical Association, to attend a meeting to
discuss Education. Over 67 IPA institutes were represented at
this meeting which took place in Berlin at the Maritim hotel on
Tuesday 24th July 2007.
